Wow I cannot believe how long it has been since I last wrote. I promised myself I will blog regularly. It has been 2 months. (shameful)

The whole purpose of me blogging was to record my progress and share what I learn so that my future employer would have confidence in me.

Anyway, I have learned quite a lot despite what I will not remember to mention. In the time I've not been coming to hashnode, I have become very good in SQL, Power BI, and I am currently refining my python skills.

This past week I completed a project which will go into my portfolio. The tools I used for the project were Power BI and SQL. For this week, I devoted my energy to more Python for Data Analytics. My main source of learning is Online courses and Youtube. And wow what an abundance of knowledge there is for free.

It amazes me how difficult python seemed for data analysis. Couple of weeks back I thought I will only use SQL and power BI. I wanted nothing to do with python. (lol)

Really amazing how far I have come. Last week I covered 4 important libraries in python. I started with Numpy, then Pandas. Lastly for visualizations: Seaborn and Matplotlib. As I said, this week I delve a bit deeper into all these libraries. I am now much better with data cleaning and plotting graphs.

After I finish with these lessons, I will be creating another project for my portfolio. This time I will also be using Python to showcase the skills.

If there is something I am certain of, I am going to get so much better. In fact, I am getting so much better. I have an infinite room of improvement. I am yet to go deeper with statistics and probability. I do have a good foundation, but with Python I can be terrific. I plan to watch a few videos on Hypothesis Testing and T-Tests later today.

It fells good to say, compared to 2 months ago, I am so confident in myself and I have so much value to give. Till next time. Ciao
